Program Description
Interested in getting certified as an ECE Assistant in British Columbia? Certification by the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development will allow you to work with young children in an early childhood setting, under the supervision of a qualified Early Childhood Educator.
The first step is completing one of the two courses listed below, students may apply for the Early Childhood Education Assistant Certificate with the Early Childhood Registry. This provides you with the opportunity to work within the childcare system and work alongside a Certified Early Childhood Educator while you complete the ECE Certificate.

- ECE 111-Guiding and Caring
Career Path
