With practice, essential skills can be developed and improve student’s level of confidence in achieving their goals and carrying out necessary tasks in life. This program delivers job training, group activities and independent studies to help enhance skills for better opportunities at school, work and life. Cultural teachings are a component of the program and designed to encourage students to share with and learn from others as well as celebrate the diverse Indigenous nations they are from. Finally, the outcomes students experience is a future focus, enhanced confidence and the essential skills to proceed on their journey of work, learning and life.

BusinessProgram Description

If you have a business idea that you want to test for viability, this program will walk you through the steps of developing a business plan that will help you develop a quality product or service, a marketing strategy, and secure funding, inventory and clients. In this program you will also undergo Personal Development, Essential Skills training and other important aspects of Indigenous Business.

A full-time preparatory program for individuals who are ready to explore the next chapter in their career path or are returning to work or school after an absence. With focus on developing career objective, life skills and workplace essential skills, students will come away from this program with developed goals, confidence and understanding of the necessary skills for success in school or the workplace.

A part-time program designed for individuals who want to study and learn as a group for the Basic Security Training Exam and Certification, and are 100% committed to working in the industry, as a Security Officer upon completion. Guaranteed employment for successful students.
