We hope you will join Native Education College and Massey Books on June 7, 2018 for the launch of Suffer the Little Children by AJS Coordinator Tamara Starblanket!

The Reception will start at 6pm in the Fireside Lounge at NEC (285 E 5th Ave, Vancouver, BC), Tamara will then read a brief passage from her book and talk a little about the process and what inspired her to write the book.

STLC Book Launch

Copies of Suffer the Little Children will be available for sale and signing at the event.

Tamara Starblanket is Spider Woman, a Nehiyaw iskwew (Cree woman) from Ahtahkakoop First Nation in Treaty Six Territory. Tamara holds an LLM (master of laws) from the University of Saskatchewan, and an LLB from the University of British Columbia. She is the Co-Chair of the North American Indigenous Peoples’ Caucus (NAIPC). She presently coordinates and teaches in the criminology program at Native Education College in Vancouver, BC.
