Family Violence Resource Centre
The Family Violence Resource Centre (FVRC) offers a library of resources and counselling services to our community.
The library is a collection of books, journals and videos about social and community issues with a focus on Aboriginal content. We provide library resources throughout the province of BC to our members (registration is free).
We offer therapeutic intervention resources, educational workshops, community agency referrals, as well as consultation and community development assistance.
The counsellor (BCCSW registered) delivers free, respectful and confidential counselling services to Aboriginal community members affected by violence in their relationships and/or sexual abuse issues.
