Part-Time Contract – Food Services Worker

As the Food Services Worker, you’ll prepare light meals for students attending the College for the 2016/17 academic year. Duties include cash management, prepare weekly menu’s, and purchasing food and supplies.

Full-Time – English Instructor, Aboriginal Adult Basic Education Program

In this position, you’ll deliver courses in English Composition and First Nations Literature including Provincial Levels. All courses are delivered through in-class instruction from an Aboriginal cultural perspective. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Education Degree or with a Provincial Instructor’s Diploma and knowledge of Aboriginal values, communities, and instructional methodology.

We are hiring casual instructors to deliver the Advanced Level – Developmental Math and Algebraic Math courses for the 2016/17 academic year.  All courses are delivered through in-class instruction from an Aboriginal cultural perspective. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Education Degree or with a Provincial Instructor’s Diploma and knowledge of Aboriginal values, communities, and instructional methodology.

We are hiring casual instructors to deliver the following courses for the 2016/17 academic year:

  • FCC 110: Human Development I
  • FCC 210: Social Work Practice
  • ENG 110: Introduction to College Writing
  • SOC 110: Family Dynamics

All courses are delivered through in-class instruction from an Aboriginal cultural perspective. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a relevant field and knowledge of Aboriginal adult instructional methodology.

Clinical Instructor, Acute Care Certificate Program

NEC is currently seeking an experienced clinical instructor on a short-term contract basis. Qualifications include 3 year’s of related work experience in an acute care setting, currently registered with CRNBC, excellent written and verbal communication skills, CPR/First Aid,  CRC, along with up-to-date immunizations.
