Family Violence Resource Centre Specialist – 1 Year Contract
We are seeking a full-time Family Violence Resource Centre Specialist for our Student Services Department. In this role, the specialist plans and develops processes, manages program budget, and reports on deliverables and outcomes. A main component is providing cultural appropriate counselling services to individuals, families, or groups.
Qualification include a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field with RCC or RSW designation, along with the eligibility for liability insurance. A minimum of 3 years experience in providing counselling services is required. Preferred experience in working with Aboriginal communities, particularly dealing with issues of sexual abuse or violence in relationships. Comprehensive knowledge of Aboriginal history, rights, and healing modalities.

Casual Instructor, Aboriginal Justice Studies Program
We are seeking a part-time instructor for our CRIM 170 – Introduction to Corrections course offered in the Aboriginal Justice Studies (AJS) Certificate Program at our main campus in Metro Vancouver.
Qualifications include a Bachelor degree in a related field, a Masters degree is preferred, with at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field. Significant teaching experience in a post-secondary educational setting is preferable combined with excellent written, verbal, and computer skills. Knowledgeable of Aboriginal values, communities, and working with Aboriginal people.

Fundraising Plan Development
We are currently seeking proposals from qualified fundraising experts to develop a Fundraising Plan for Native Education College. Proposals should describe the general approach to the project and include:
- Ways to maximize corporate sponsorship and industry relations
- Identify new funding sources
- Timeline for reaching set goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in a related field from an accredited institution
- 10 years of fundraising experience
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience of successful organizational resource development
- Knowledge or experience work with Aboriginal organizations and educational institutions is preferred
