The Native Education College (NEC) works with First Nations and Indigenous community agencies to deliver accredited post-secondary and adult upgrading programs in locations throughout British Columbia (BC). NEC programs are developed with Indigenous content and teaching methods for Indigenous learners Vancouver. Our Adult Upgrading courses are recognized at all public colleges and universities in BC. First Nation Community Partnerships

The Native Education College establishes partnerships with First Nations and Indigenous agencies to meet local training needs for economic development initiatives and the local job market. Through these partnerships, learners can remain in their community while completing an NEC certificate or diploma program before relocating for degree completion.

We also work with local employment training agencies and First Nation education departments to provide innovative solutions and good value in education. Our partnership can include the in-kind contribution of facilities, Elders or qualified staff who can take part in training delivery. Whenever possible, we hire qualified local instructors and link with local community resources such as counselling for student support.
